The WS1081 is not a La Crosse-branded unit, but is sold with a 12-month return-to-base warranty. However, it is a fully featured professional weather station including USB PC connection and touch screen panel at an attractive price.

The WS1081 Includes the following items:

- thermo/hygro transmitter
- wind speed sensor
- wind direction sensor
- rain gauge

Clock
- Full alarm clock functions, 12 or 24 hour display.
Temperature
- Record min/max indoor/outdoor temperature with time and date of recording.
Humidity
- Record min/max indoor/outdoor humidity with time and date of recording.
Rainfall
- Rainfall data (inch/mm) 1h, 24h, one week, one month and total since last reset.
Wind
- Wind chill and dew point temperature display.
- Records min/max wind chill and dew point with time and date recorded and wind speed and direction (mph, m/s, km/h, knots, Beaufort)
Forecast
- Forecast icons based on changing barometric pressure in inches Hg or hPa with 0.1hPa resolution.
- Weather forecast tendency arrow
Alarm Modes
- Alarm modes for a) temperature, b) humidity, c) wind chill, d) dew point, e) rainfall, f) wind speed, g) air pressure, h) storm warning.
- Alarm duration 120 seconds.
